My Dungeon Geomorphs Collection getting edited

The link to the original Dungeon Geomorph Collection file is currently misbehaving for me, I also tried to edit the old one to re-post and it's password locked... surprisingly enough I can't recall a password from over 5 years ago.   I'll be recreating this collection from original files and making the newer edited version available soon.

gratuitous screen shot of editing in progress

The new version will be put on letter sized pages as well, while the original was meant to be used to copy and paste into other files I've realized the large page sizes may be troublesome to some folks so page change size coming along with some reorganization.

If anyone cares, would you like to see the backgrounds changed from the grey they currently are to fancier backgrounds similar to those used by Dyson Logos and in the smaller online posts here or kept grey?

Geomorph Template II

A geomorph template to go along with the previous one. This time hexes, triangle, rhombus and parallelogram that fit together with the popular 10 x 10 arrangement for geomorphs.

Just copy an paste what yuo draw inside a template to make sure everything fits. No grid this time as all the shapes don't line up evenly on a grid but edges fit together fine with standard squares and each other.

10 x 10 Geomorph Template

Here's the template I used for my last geomorph with and without a grid. Feel free to duplicate and use as you will.  Copy or Cut out the middle 10x10 squares the border details shown in the template are for quick reference for the popular geomorph scale of recent years. The grid is 1/8" grid and the image is 300 DPI.

Working on more Castle Geomorphs

Working on series B castle geomorphs. It's all about 10x10 square sections for gatehouses.

Pretty tiny.  I draw a whole mess of these up in Adobe Illustrator export sections I like, import them into Photoshop add textures and there you go.

Exploring Wilderness Geomorphs

An idea I'd like to bounce off the readers of this blog: Wilderness Hex Geomorphs. There's a few aspects to wilderness geomorphs that are tricky such as being able to turn them and developing a symbol set that works turned to any of the possible directions.

Here's an elevation only hex tile set I worked up:

and here is a sample hex map I worked up with the tiles above and a blank one:

Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

The Masons Were Forgetful

Now series A of the Castle Geomorphs is posted (going to have to find some more reliable masons).
