WeirdLands Hexcrawl Growth

Chugging along with the WeirdLands Hexcrawl, spent more time on the map today, and figuring out who or what dwells in the towers.

The wastes of the ancient sea got some shipwrecks and a few fish skeletons. The deserts with metal bits and scrap got some cogs.

Here's a sampling of the still skeletal Hex Descriptions:

0101: Desert of metallic filings, cogs, scraps and recycling heaps of ancients.  Beware of ferrovores.

0103: Coloured Dust with unique flavour but inedible.  Castle. The Cobalt Tower - a blue stone tower impervious to psionics, astral or ethereal intrusion (occupants can teleport in and out, strangers are doomed). This outpost houses garrison watching this plane for role in cosmic struggle. Not that hostile but do grow bored and toy with strangers for a time.  The tower is inhabited by a psionic community partly descended from a planar-alien warband from long ago.
Shift-cats are sometimes seen wandering this area.
0104: Part of the Moon fallen to earth, aliens, astronauts and weird insect people and ancient ruins. Will be using my lunar encounter tables for this region. House.
House will be converted Victorian-era spaceship.

0108: Thorn jungle of savage dangerous plants and hostile to man, home of beasts and outcasts. The Verdigrine  Tower - a crumbling over grown tower crafted by shaping stone from a natural outcrop. Druids use it for meetings, and ceremonies , while Bards travel here to learn the druids lore.  The druids commune with nature and care little for what goes on beyond the thon- jungle, they consider themselves as a bulwark against the hell of the flaming forest to the south.
